I will start the conversation! I have a towering pile of climate fiction books waiting to be read, many of which I am hoping we will read together.

North American and European authors dominate my collection, many of whom write in English. There are significant linguistic and geographic omissions that I would like to address.

Can you recommend climate fiction works written in other languages and translated into English? Do you have suggestions of books written by authors from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, South America, etcetera?

I can only agree with you, Emma. I would also love to read some climate fiction that was written in other languages and then translated. I’ll keep my eyes open :-)

Additionally, I would also appreciate it if we could read works that center around animals (generally) and/or species that are endangered.

I’m very much looking forward to the first discussion. Thank you for everything, Emma! ❤️

Thank you Carolin! ❤️

Great suggestion to read some works that center around animals. I am going to look into this some more. I have a few titles in mind already.

I am waiting for some more people to sign up before the first book. Looking forward to it too!

Hi Emma, I'm also organising a climate fiction club on Substack!

Hi Claudia! That's wonderful. So nice to meet you. I'm moving my existing book club over to Substack, still learning how to use it. It seems great so far. :)
